Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

Begin your adventure with a climb through vibrant rainforest to Machame Camp, surrounded by thick vegetation and cool mountain air.


Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Ascend sharply to reach the Shira Plateau, a stunning high-altitude plain with wide mountain views.


Day 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

Climb up to Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend into the scenic Barranco Valley for the night.


Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Tackle the famous Barranco Wall and enjoy a short but rewarding trek to Karanga Camp.


Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Hike to Barafu, your high-altitude summit base camp. Rest early for the summit push.


Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak, Descend to Mweka Camp

Summit Africa’s highest peak at sunrise, then descend to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain.


Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Walk through rainforest to Mweka Gate for certificates and pickup.

INCLUDES:

  • Professional, English-speaking mountain guides certified in WFR (Wilderness First Responder) or equivalent

  • Experienced assistant guides, cooks, and porters

  • All park fees & taxes, including:
