Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Big Tree Camp
Walk through untouched rainforest to reach Big Tree Camp, surrounded by rich nature and fresh mountain air.
Day 2: Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp
Ascend along narrow trails until you emerge onto the Shira Plateau with sweeping views.
Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
A shorter and gentler day that crosses the plateau, allowing your body to acclimatize gradually.
Day 4: Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Climb to Lava Tower at 4,600m for acclimatization before descending to the spectacular Barranco Valley for camp.
Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Tackle the Barranco Wall and continue on undulating paths to Karanga, a prime acclimatization stop.
Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Head to Barafu Camp, your final staging point for summit night. Rest early.
Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak, Descend to Mweka Gate
Summit overnight to reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise. Descend the mountain and exit through Mweka Gate.
